From school play grounds to ski slopes, Britain’s best known schoolwear brand, Trutex, is sponsoring the England Moguls Freestyle Ski team, who are set to compete in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada.
Trutex has provided the team of four boys and two girls, aged between 14 and 18 year olds, who have already developed an international reputation, with high performance tracksuits. Made from superior peach skin, water resistant fabric, the girl’s tracksuits comprises of a slim fit jacket and matching flat front, fully lined, boot leg trousers, whilst the boy’s feature a blouson style jacket and draw string trousers.
The team, who recently returned from training in France, have now started the competition race schedule, including the Swiss Cup National Moguls Championships. This will be quickly followed by international races in Spain, Germany and France.
Commenting on the sponsorship, England Moguls Freestyle Ski team coach, Peter Koyander said: “It’s great to see organisations like Trutex taking an interest in the next generation Olympic squad and we’re all absolutely delighted with the tracksuits. The team are all really focussed on reaching their full potential, so they can compete in the 2010 Winter Olympics.”
Trutex marketing director, Clare Rix commented: “We’re all hoping the team continue their top form and that the Trutex tracksuits prove invaluable particularly during their out of season training programme, which starts in April. Whilst we’re all enjoying the 2006 Winter Olympics now, it’s essential to look forward and support the next tier of athletes.”
